As a mother of three, there is no doubting the fact that Taheerah Ahmad has seriously dropped the ball, to say the least. She was recently facing criminal charges related to some horrific abuse that she imparted upon her three children.
Ahmad was interviewed via a police video, and she exhibited no remorse whatsoever when she discussed how she thought that her oldest daughter was an incarnation of the devil and that she had arrived in her home and life with the full intention of hurting her. Ahmad said she also has the power to read her daughter’s thoughts and she knew that her daughter wanted nothing more than to kill her. She claimed in the video that she wanted to hurt her daughter before she could hurt her.
Of course, it’s a no-brainer that anyone who saw this criminal investigation video would believe this woman was totally batty and crazy. However, it gets even worse.
In the latter part of the video, she admitted that she not only completely bound and gagged her 7 and 9-year-old children, but that she attacked her eldest daughter with a pickaxe and stabbed her seventy different times! Although it was nothing short of a miracle, all of her children survived this horrendous assault.
After the judge saw this horrendous video, he was shocked and dismayed, and he agreed with assistant district attorney Katie Koljack in calling it the worst case of child abuse he had ever seen. Then, he pronounced his sentence…
Even though Taheerah Ahmad’s public defender said that she wasn’t “in the right frame of mind” when she did these attacks, the judge sentenced Ahmad to three concurrent life terms as well as an additional ten years behind bars because she set fire to her house after attacking her children.
Authorities quickly learned about some of the horrible things that Taheerah Ahmad had been suspected of doing to her children. They immediately came into the home and she was promptly arrested. Apparently, Ahmad had attacked her eldest child because she thought that she was “possessed by a demon” and she was very thorough; she actually used at least three different weapons on the poor child. Remarkably, the only thing she did to her younger children was to simply tie them up, so they were relatively unharmed.
Later on, Ahmad allegedly told authorities that she was also upset with her children because she didn’t care for the way “they were reading” and the way “were looking at her too much.”
Taheera had apparently stabbed her oldest so many times that even experienced professionals felt that it was one the “worst attacks they had ever seen” and they couldn’t even tell just how many times the girl had been hurt.
Ahmad then proceeded to set fire to her kitchen just to be sure that she killed her daughter.
While there is no question that Ahmad is where she belongs behind a jail cell, her aunt says that she snapped because she was out of a job and having a hard time making ends meet. Additionally, her mother is apparently raising her son and wouldn’t allow her to attend his high school graduation. The aunt says that all of this set her over the edge.
