Internet personality Woah Vicky is making one of her wildest allegations yet, claiming Beyoncé practices witchcraft and that the singer’s famous “Sasha Fierce” persona was something far darker than a stage character.

During a podcast appearance now circulating across social media, Vicky insisted Beyoncé is a “witch” and described Sasha Fierce as a demonic spirit that allegedly takes control of the singer during her performances.

Vicky offered no evidence to support the accusation, but appeared convinced that Beyoncé’s dramatic transformation on stage could not be explained by confidence, performance training or carefully constructed branding.

The comments quickly gained attention because Beyoncé herself once described Sasha Fierce as a separate personality that emerged when it was time to perform.

Beyoncé publicly introduced the character while promoting her 2008 album, I Am… Sasha Fierce. At the time, she explained that Sasha represented the more confident, aggressive and glamorous side of her personality. She said the alter ego helped protect her private self while allowing her to become a different person on stage.

That explanation has long provided fuel for conspiracy theories surrounding the superstar. References to being “taken over,” combined with elaborate costumes, religious imagery and theatrical performances, have repeatedly been interpreted by some viewers as evidence of something supernatural.

Beyoncé, however, has always presented Sasha Fierce as a creative tool rather than a literal entity.

By 2011, she said she no longer needed the alter ego because entering performance mode had become natural to her.

“I killed off needing Sasha Fierce,” Beyoncé told Dazed. “I don’t need her anymore. I am Sasha Fierce.” She explained that she could shift from her relaxed private personality into work mode without mentally preparing herself through the character.

Vicky’s version takes those old comments literally. In her telling, the transformation is not an entertainer stepping into character. It is a spirit entering Beyoncé and influencing her behavior.

There is no evidence supporting that allegation, and the circulating clip does not show Vicky presenting any firsthand knowledge of Beyoncé, her religious beliefs or her private life.

Still, the accusation has revived a familiar argument surrounding celebrity culture. Some viewers see alter egos and provocative symbolism as harmless theater. Others believe performers are openly displaying spiritual practices that audiences have been conditioned to dismiss as entertainment.

Whether Vicky genuinely believes her accusation or is once again leaning into controversy, her comments have placed the nearly two-decade-old Sasha Fierce character back under the microscope.

Beyoncé has not publicly responded to the allegation.
