After Young Boy Bullies and Harasses Grocery Store Workers, His Father Makes Him Come Back and Apologize

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to rage on throughout the world, and many people are getting more and more stressed and they are letting their emotions get the better of them. One young teenager based in the United Kingdom was definitely not exempt, but there is good news: even though he acted terribly, his father did the right thing and held him accountable for his actions.

The young teenager was at an ASDA supermarket located in Gosport, Hampshire, and the first thing he did was make several threats to the employees there. He was with one of his older friends, and he said that he would “jump on them” and then the young boy joined in by saying that he was going to come back and “slice you” and “f***king cut you up.” After that, he started being chided by some of the onlookers.

One of the onlookers started to chide him, asking him how old he was. “F****, how old are you?” he snapped back. “You look about 80.” Naturally, this whole entire exchange didn’t sit well with many people, especially the supermarket workers who have been working hard day in and day out to help their customers even in the middle of this horrible virus.

Luckily for all of us, this particular episode didn’t sit well with one of the fathers of the boys either. Once he heard about it, he immediately sprung to action.

First of all, he made his son march right back to that same store. Then, he made his son apologize to all of the employees, workers and customers in regards to his earlier extremely hateful behavior. Not only that, but this father also posted his son’s public apology on Facebook and said that he had contacted the local law enforcement authorities regarding his son’s behavior.

After that, the father had his own comments on the matter. He describes his actions as “a public apology to everyone involved at the ASDA supermarket yesterday who witnessed my son’s horrible behavior.” He wrote further comments on it as well:

“For all the people who have seen a video of this boy threatening members of the staff at Asda yesterday, please be aware that I have never been more mortified and disgusted with my son in my entire life. He was not brought up to behave like this, and I don’t condone this behavior one bit. Just so you all know, the police have been contacted, and they have now seen the evidence. It is up to them what they want to do with this situation.”

“For those who have a tendency to blame the parents, this is not, and I repeat not, the way that my wife and I have raised him. We will punish thoroughly and make sure this never happens again.”

As a matter of fact, this father is a person of his word, as the local authorities did indeed get a report of an assault at that supermarket and they were investigating the matter.

Naturally, the dad was commended on Facebook, with one commenter posting, “Now that’s a proper dad, it would be nice if more parents were like that.” Another person said, “He’s lucky to have a father like that, so there is hope for him yet. Respect, sir.”

So even though his son got angry and was threatening violence, there was at least a silver lining in the fact that there is still such a thing as good parenting even in the midst of these trying times.

What do you think about this supermarket story? Your comments are much appreciated!

  1. Thanks for finally writing about >After Young Boy Bullies and
Harasses Grocery Store Workers, His Father Makes Him Come Back and Apologize – Digital Dredger <Loved it!

  2. Finally a father that stands up to his kid’s behaviour.Guess the boy will remember this and change his ugly behaviour

  3. It is what every parent needs to extend to their children. They stray when they are on their own with friends that may influence them. However, this Dad knew his son knew better and his behavior was unacceptable. Like someone said in the article, this young man may stand a chance yet. The child thinks they look cool when they act and speak like jerks; but that is what you look like to everyone; a jerk with no respect nor manners. Be lucky your parents care enough to remand consequences upon you.

  4. Thank you for the good writeup. It in fact was a amusement account
it. Look advanced to far added agreeable from you!
By the way, how could we communicate?

  5. Great father, unusual in today’s society of no rules, no manners, no common sense, and no decency.

  6. A good father, unusual in today’s society of, you owe me, no responsibility, no manners, no common sense, and no intelligence.

  7. We would have a much better world if more parents reacted as this parent did to his son.

we thank you for being a caring parent.

  8. One can only hope that he learned a lesson from his dumb actions and he was lucky someone didn’t knock that chip off his shoulder. The father deserves credit for holding this kid accountable and making him apologize was probably not something he would have considered on his own

  9. This father did the correct things. Hopefully, this teenager learned the lesson and took it to heart.

  10. AMEN to the father. I agree 100% that if more parents made their child apologize, this world would be a much better place.

  11. Hooray for the Dad!! Maybe the son will think twice before doing something to impress his friends.

  12. Good for the Dad, I hope this boy realizes soon how lucky he is to have a Dad who loves him.

Shame on the other kid’s Dad he should be doing the same.

We need more parents who care enough about their children.

  13. Some parents are still making their children be accountable for their kid’s actions. I applaud this father for doing just that in this case.

  14. A salute to you “dad!” May you see the day, and hear the sincere “Thank You Dad”that you so richly deserve.

Children need boarders defined for them, and clearly you have done so.

    Don USA

  15. We need more parents to step up and take responsibility for disciplining their children. That is how they become civilized and fit to live in society. The young man will not forget this lesson. Bravo to his father for his actions.

  16. YES!!!! A real Father who is not afraid to call his child to order and to make the kid apologize for their action. Good going dad, a heart WELL DONE for you.

  17. Wow, Dad who changed that kid’s diaper and wants to see his boy grow up not in the hood but as a decent member of his family and community. Good for Dad. Hopefully the kid will think when he decides whether or not to copy the bad actions of an older kid. Kids have to be corrected and learn to appreciate other people no matter on what step of the society ladder the other people are. That is what my Father said and we kids grew up loving that man more than he could ever know.

  18. Bravo! It’s a tough job raising a kid now a days, but this dad did what a parent is supposed to do. I feel badly for the kid, but actions have consequences.

  19. You’re a parent to be emulated by all. Though raising children during these times when the disintegration of the family is quite rapidly tearing at the very fabric of our fragile society, it’s truly a joy to witness a father who assumes that the responsibility of raising children is most certainly not to be taken lightly.

  20. i think that parent did the right thing by making him apologize to all involved. you reap what you sow in life and that boy will remember that lesson there’s of his life. its not what you say to your children but its your actions that they learn from .no one is perfect except god and we all have to learn what is acceptable and what isn’t .if you nip it in the bud early it will sink in .This will follow him when he becomes a parent and he will be able to pass it along .just saying

  21. The day will come when this young man will thank his dad. Any man can be a father but it takes great love to be a dad. This young man will raise his son the same way knowing respect. Well done, dad, well done.

  22. THIS AMERICA IS HOW YOU RAISE OUR CHILDREN BUT THE NEW PROGRESSORS CHANGED ALL THAT THIS IS PART WHY WE HAVE KIDS WHO DONT CARE WONT RESPECT LAW OR ANY OTHER MEANS I HOPE PEOPLE SEE ALL THIS I PRAISE THIS FATHER GO FATHER GOT MY VOTE

  23. I am 77 years old, this situation remind me when I was a child. I WAS RAISED BY THE VILLAGE (neighborhood). one of the men watching what had happening would have taking his belt off put it on my butt also I would have gotten a hush talking. I would rather the belt then then the scolding. I think child abuse law is little to strong, children needs to be corrected. Then we have broken homes, children never knew who the father is, then children. There are many parents in world are raising their children correctly.
Father , I take my hat off to you. Thank you very much for raising your son. Your son will thank you one day by mouth or action! Keep it up with lots of LOVE!

  24. You don’t see enough of this. In America this right now wouldn’t happen. This young kid would be the victim and be hailed as a hero to the left. But, the difference here is this child has a father. 70 percent of blacks are born out of wedlock, around 45 percent whites , and around 50 percent Hispanic in this country. No fathers around to teach our children and we end up with terrorist groups of sheep like BLM and Antifa. Nuff said!

    1. Very excellent observation. This is about the nature of Marxism. A childish adolescent desire to bully through anarchy. We in America are fed up with this Junior High Socialist Communist rebellion. I personally lived through this hell 45 years ago in Junior High and High School

  25. As a young child, I thanked my mom “for the coke she bought for me at the store.” “What coke?” I saw my brother and sister enjoying cokes and assumed she had paid for them. Wrong! We were on a grocery procuring trip into town from our home more than 3 miles out in the country. It was an honest mistake but I learned to ask first, and was returned to the store with an apology and money for the coke. My son had a similar incident and needless to say, he got the same treatment. This UK dad is a wonderful man as far as I can tell, and surely his son will be a wonderful man starting now, also.

  26. That father did well!
The boy embarrassed him, so he embarrassed the boy.
(A thorough switching might also be in order …)

  27. How can we define what’s a photo effect? That was my main concern when I started scouring the web to build this list. Despite of this situation, I had one thing clear: the final result had to be quite different from the orignal picture and be recognized as a post production photo manipulation.

  28. Nicely, the above is definitely the technique I shared with you to recover accidentally deleted videos, I hope it could help you, not only, but also! Other people for instance ppt presentations, excel spreadsheets, txt text, pictures, word documents, music, zip files, and so forth. When the files are deleted by error, it is possible to use my system above to recover them!

  29. Initially of all, you are able to get the “Superrecovery” recovery software from your browser, and select the corresponding one. Information recovery function options. Usually, to recover lost information in your laptop or computer or removable storage device, you are able to directly pick “Delete files by mistake”. You can also pick “Misformatted Disk” in the event you have lost information resulting from the formatting on the device’s contents.

  30. There are actually a variety of particulars like that to take into consideration. That may be a great point to convey up. I provide the ideas above as common inspiration however clearly there are questions like the one you carry up where an important factor will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if finest practices have emerged around things like that, but I am positive that your job is clearly identified as a good game. Both girls and boys feel the affect of only a moment抯 pleasure, for the rest of their lives.

  31. That boy was a bully, a Marxist Communist joining the mob to attack the store owner, rob him and take over the store as their own property as the Bolsheviks did over 100 years ago in Russia. It was yet a good thing the boy’s father took charge and demanded his Marxist son repent of his behavior and apologize. This bad behavior of this boy is representative of what unbridled left Marxist ideology does in all societies. Its about childish anarchist rebellion and violence against peaceful established reasonable authority.

  32. I like the helpful info you provide for your articles. I will

I am rather certain I will learn many new stuff proper here!
Best of luck for the following!
